I was able to meet with my cooperating teacher before the day of orientation with the principal, this was great because I had an idea of where to go and toured the gym area. Ms. Palmer provided her November calendar, essentially a unit plan for the next three weeks, and a daily outline. She no longer needs to create detailed lessons like we do in class because she has been teaching for 32 years. She also showed us where all the equipment is located along with the fitness room and her office. It is nice to see where everything is located and gives me more knowledge about what to do and tools I could use when creating my own lesson plan.
